KH-2 Koji Hara Bamboo (S)

In stock now !
This is an artistic small integral knife made by a Japanese famous custom knife maker Koji Hara.
(It is the smaller version of his KH-1 Bamboo. Everything is the same as KH-1 except its size.)
The handle is sculpted to have the contours of a piece of bamboo and the knife itself is made from the steel called “Cowry Y”– a powdered metallurgical steel not available in the United States.
This steel is capable of a higher hardness without being brittle. The resulting edge has extremely good edge retention. The blade has been hollow ground and hairline-finished.
The knife comes with a leather sheath & a hand-made small box made from paulownia wood.
