G.Sakai Bosen Enku-Tou

G.SAKAI Enkuto has been designed to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Mr. Enku, a Japanese Buddhist monk and sculptor during the early Edo period. He was born in Mino Province (present-day Gifu Prefecture where Seki-city is located), and traveled all over Japan helping the poor along the way.
So this knife is designed to commemorate the 300th anniversary of his death.
Blade of the Enkuto is made out of laminated steel. Core steel of the Enkuto, #10835,has been changed to SLD (powder steel) which is one of the die steels.
This is the one that has a blade made from SLD (similer to D2)
